I still haven't been able to make a decision.
Here' a rough blurb on McCabes 2:
Finding a woman beaten and broken in a dark parking lot wasn't the way David McCabe expected his night to end. It wasn't the way Kate had expected her night to go, either - beaten by an angry, vicious husband of one of the women she had helped at Liberty Haven one of the areas Women's Refuge. She also didn't expect to wake up in the hospital with a stranger holding her daughter, telling her she had no option but to go with him - not after everything she'd fought to be free of.
Can two bruised hearts let go of the past and make a new future?
Here are the new front runners, what do y'all think? My Front runners are marked with an *
- To Spite the Past **
- Despite the Past
- Chrysalis **
- Telling Truths **
- Surviving the Past
- New Day

Hi there, I like 3, 4 or 12, depending on the story's main themes. Good luck with making your decision.
I realized after I hit post that I needed to add a blurb :), so I did - it's rough, but gives a sense of the story.
AnneD
I like Just Breathe, but I like the song, and yeah, that alone would make me pick up a book. I'm such a music nerd!
Happy TT, Anne. Good luck with the title stuff; I know how hard it can be.
I like a lot of those, what a difficult choice!! Happy TT!
Lisa - Lil' Duck Duck
I like 2 or 3...
I like chrysalis... Flowers that can bloom, but still be easily destroy...
I liked Just Breathe :)
Sounds great Anne!
I like the To Spite the Past I think :)
I'm not crazy about any of the titles. Hmmm...maybe you could have a title about that one object that can be visually pointed as the one connecting them. Something really mundane but can really be unique. Just a suggestion. :-)
But if I really have to choose, I'd pick "Chrysalis".
Chrysalis would be my choice!
I vote for "To Spite the Past"
I vote for "Bruised Pasts".
I like Bruised Past best, and Broken Past second. Both sound so sadly romantic?
Yup, now I feel like a total geek! :)
My fave is Just Breathe, though I like Chrysalis, too.
Good luck!
What a difficult choice. I say forget the title and just write! I loved Persuading Jo and can't wait to read the next in the series!
Nicole, it's done!, It's done! It's off with some cp's at the moment, but the little interlude that comes out tomorrow (Making Out - that has the guys and girl :) from Persuading Jo) got me all keen to finally get my a into g and get it done!
My poor editor's squashed under a thousand sheets of paper at the moment for 5 books she has queued up, bang, bang, bang so she won't have time to read it till April, but here's lots of crossed fingers that I've managed to do what she asked :)
This sounds awesome and I want to read it NOW. *g* I think I like the title Just Breathe best, by the way.
Hmmm, even though it isn't a front runner I liked #2. Of your preferences I liked #1 and #8. Sounds like an interesting book though :-)
Just Breathe, but Im not sure if singer would sue, or even if they can
I'm having fun mixing them up...Bruised Truth...Chrysalis Broken... Learning to Collide....Learning a future song. Just Breathe is good.
You know, Bruised Truth, I like that!
I was keen to use bruise/d, and since the story is about facing the past and moving on, not locking it behind a door to forget it, that could work well.
I think #9 fits the blurb best.
Happy TT!
I think Just Breathe is memorable, Anne. Good luck with your decision.
And thanks for stopping by to visit my first TT!
Chrysalis
I'm horrible when it comes to title brainstorming. Chrysalis would be my vote though, or Telling Truths
