Parents - it doesn't matter how old you are...

You still feel awkward when you are doing something 'naughty' and they walk in the room.

Being quite a few thousand miles away from my sewing room (the 'day' job), I have had quite a few hours free (does shopping count as 'un'free?) to tend to a few stories in the making. Nick and Beatrice's Christmas story is coming along nicely now. Its definitely not hard to think Christmas with it so cold and clear here in Auckland. But having your mother floating round the kitchenmaking lunch while your trying to write a drunken sex scene is not the best way to get the creative juices flowing - the sandwiches were good though!
