Whose a clever chicky?

Ages upon ages ago, EREC asked for folks to submit some ideas for their website logo. I like to tinker with all things graphic (I really need to suck it up and go back to school to learn how to do all this shit properly) so I said that I would do something to add to the pile.

Well, that was like two months ago, and it took me till today to get my shit together. I'm sure they've more than decided by now but I had some new things to fiddle with, so why not make a logo:

What do you think?

I can't wait till I get my next cover art. I need to make some new banners and ads and I'm looking forward to hours hunched over my keyboard (like I don't do that everyday!) getting creative.

Which reminds me, it's way past time to change my website header, but I haven't been able to get to my little studio set up, but I do have my next piece of kitsch ready to go.

Banner or blog header image anyone? I'll work for OTT gushing fangurl reviews of my upcoming book...

I *love* it. I will have it up when I get back from Epicon. I would be happy to bribe you to make a long-overdue header for veinglory.com -- I can gush with the best of them although it does tend to scare people.

Given that graphic design and running an agency is what i do to pay for my book reading habits, i think i can say with some tiny amount of professional authority - Anne, that TOTALLY rocks. Really. Very VERY nicely done. They would be foolish not to use it.
And i'll be happy to replace existing banner ad (yours is the only one i'm running, heh) on my blog with any new ones you come up with promoting your book.
